Instructions printing sets
of patient detail labels for lab forms etc
Style one gives labels three
abreast and prints the CHI number (used in Scotland). The labels
are 'Universal Office Supplies ULL01' (A4 sheets, label size 63.5mm X
38.1mm, 3 column's 7 rows)..
Style Two uses Avery labels L7163, 2 columns by 14 rows. The query can
be repeated fourteen times or try six times and turn the sheet around
and print six for the next patient.

Instructions
- First of all download
the format and query of your choice. Save the format to S:\meddata\s6000\REPORT\FORMATS\OTHERS
- Save the query to a temporary
folder on your C:\ drive.
- Start report manager,
Add a new folder in your custom folder - give it a name e.g. labels
- Yes to "Add a report".
- Click the '...' to add
an output format, check 'other' and then 'browse any folder' choose
the format either staclabl.fp (style one) or label14.fp (style two)
- Click "advanced"
tab and set report to "append queries"
- Stop, don't add a query
at this point. Exit from S6 Report manager.
- Via Explorer copy the
query from the temporary folder to S:\meddata\s6000\REPORT\CUSTOM\labels
(If the folder was called labels)
- Start S6 Report Manager
again
- Find the report (custom,
labels) and add a query. Choose 'existing query'. The query should
appear as it is in the current folder.
- Copy and paste the query
for required number of labels (i.e. for 9 label report query needs to
appear 9 times)
- Use Clinician Menus in
config editor to set it up on utility menu. The address in the "Utility
Programme" box should be: C:\MEDAPPS\S6000\s6repman.exe folder=custom\labels
RPN1=PATIENTID RPV1=$patientid

Right Click and Save to a temporary folder e.g. C:\windows\temp
- staclabl.fp
Right Click and Save to S:\meddata\s6000\REPORT\FORMATS\OTHERS
- labpat.mrl
Right Click and Save to a temporary folder, e.g. C:\windows\temp
- label14.fp
Right Click and Save to S:\meddata\s6000\REPORT\FORMATS\OTHERS
