ANNUAL CONFERENCE

& Annual General Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the 2011 Conference will be on 6th and 7th October at the Barcelo Hotel, Daventry. And the big news is that this year iSOFT has generously offered to pick up the bill for the actual conference part of the programme in its entirety.

That means that entry to the conference and to the conference dinner will be FREE OF CHARGE to all practice staff, this will apply to all iSOFT Primary Care customers so will also include those who are not as of today members of iSUG. Accommodation will be available as normal (which will be chargeable), and we will be starting to take bookings for that shortly.

As a result of this we are expecting a big turnout for this year’s conference, and so we are planning a bumper event. As you might have expected, there will be a heavy emphasis on Commissioning and Consortia and the tools you will need to help you achieve it.

iSOFT is keen to have a strong educational bias, not just an update of last year’s approach, so we look forward to a programme with strong plenary sessions, more focused break outs and maybe one or two surprises. In response to a recent iSOFT survey the structure will be such that day one will be a very full day so that any delegates who can only spare a single day will still get benefit out of their attendance. Day two will be concentrated largely on practical skills and techniques to help you get the job done.
